On 13th of Sept 2025, Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi visit Manipur at Churachandpur District. The visit of PM Modi is a long wait for the people of Manipur since after the communal ethnic. Churachandpur is a Kuki dominated district of Manipur.
The weather of Manipur is drastically bad on the visit of PM Modi at Churachandpur. Despite of bad weather, PM Modi did not cancel his visit to Manipur and visited the people of Churachandpur at the program.
On the visit of PM Modi, many people have welcome and honor him with a traditional shawls, portrait and gifts. PM Modi on his live speech assured the people of Manipur with different projects to be laid. He lays a foundation stone of Rs.7300 Cr. for the development of Manipur at Churachandpur. For those who are homeless and deprive are given an assurance to provide a home under the special package to bring them back with a new hope.
PM Modi appeal to the people of hill and valley of Manipur to seek peace and prosperity and his support is with the state.
Since 2014, under their tenure, the government had spent crores for different project in Manipur such as Railways connectivity from Jiribam to Imphal. PM Modi also assure that very soon, the Rail connectivity will soon reach the Capital cities Imphal and National wide. Infrastructure such as roads, airports etc. are under the plan for the upliftment of Manipur said PM Modi on his speech.
The visit at Churachandpur is successful and PM Modi left to visit Imphal the Capital cities of Manipur just after his speech concluded at Churachandpur.
