The bodybuilding competition organized by the World Fitness Federation (WFF) India at Shillong on 5th Oct 2024 was a great achievement for the Rongmei Community living in Silchar Cachar Assam. A contestant from Rongmei community name as Mr. Powkhen Rongmei have won a Silver medal at the Mr. East India 2024 bodybuilding competition organized by the World Fitness Federation (WFF) India at Shillong on 5th Oct 2024. Mr. Powkhen Rongmei belong to Rongmei and presently residing at Silchar Cachar Assam. According to the reliable source, he also owns a gym known as “The Daniel Gym” and he is the owner of the gym which is very popular in Silchar. He is also the fitness coach and owner of Daniel Gym. In the past he has also took part in many events and competition such as Mr. Cachar, Mr. Barak etc. He was honor as the guest of honor on Iron game meet 2023 organized by the Cachar District Physique Sports Association and reorganized by Assam Olympic Association. As a trainer, through his fitness training many students have won in different competition and have earn name and fame. He is a hard working man and also a genuine fitness coach in Silchar. Through his hard working and dedication, he has achieved the Silver medal in bodybuilding competition which have put a smile for the entire community of Rongmei living in Silchar and the neighboring state.
