Fresh tension has erupted in Manipur on the night of 7^th June 2025 at the capital city of Manipur, Imphal. Since the beginning of the conflict started on 3^rd May 2023, Manipur State has become a restless place where many lives have been compromised to live in a temporary shelter and in a relief camp. The conflict between the two communities Meitei and Kuki Zo desperately not only affect these two communities but the entire communities within the state. Every government sector and the private sector are disturbed by this conflict. The State economy has gone down and common man lives has turn to a nightmare since the beginning of this conflict. The State economy has gone down due to which it has become a miserable life and faced a hardship most probably for the business sector who’s financial was deprive and the ability to sustain the trade is unpredictable.

During the conflict, two communities had formed a village defend volunteers to protect their own communities. The Arambai Tengol (AT) was said to be formed before this conflict began. However, due to the prevailing situation, they took arms and defend for the Meitei communities voluntarily. On the other side of the story, the Kuki Zo communities also took arms and defend for their Kuki Zo tribes voluntarily. Both the communities took arms voluntarily to safeguard themselves from other communities and that led to a blood shade in a peaceful coexistence within the State of Manipur. The law-abiding citizen which took up arms in an unlawful act by looting weapons from State force armoury in several parts of the district by both the communities during an emergency has caused an impact in the sight of the government to which the Central forces are actively vigilant in a State.
